I´m stunned she makes this “little” money with Hellcats, $30.000 per episode is nothing compared to what other TV actors make, especially considering that it involves so much hard physical work.
If you compare that to Kaley Cuoco for example who makes twice as much money per episode which are only half as long and don’t involve any physical work….
The fact that The CW is a smaller network certainly plays a part in this but still, I´m surprised she dosen’t make more giving that she’s one of the most popular stars for the teenage audience.

You’ve also got to partly bare in mind that this is the first season of Hellcats. The network have no concrete ideas on how the show will perform ratings wise. If they gave her a massive salary and then the show bombed, it wouldnt look good for the network. They also wont have a massive budget to spend either because the show is new. As the show gains critics approval and gets good ratings, more money is put into the production of it and then i’m in no doubt that her salary will increase because they’ll want to keep her playing the role.
With Kaley Cuoco, the show she stars is in already established and the producers dont want to loose one of their lead characters so she has more power to get a better salary.
Compared to other TV actors, its not that much but i certainly wouldn’t say no to that amount of money!

Ye I agree with jeremy on this..
but it can change.
You can take example of One Tree Hill, the cast made about 40-50.000$ per episode, and in the 3rd season they doubled it to 80,000$ .
but it doesn’t change the fact that she really works hard for this and her salary should be bigger..
And she really is one of the most popular stars for the teenage audience.

holy crap, I cant believe people are complaining about ashley’s salary! to me thats a LOT of money, and think about it in about 10 episodes she will already have like 300,000$ and they cant give her a lot of money cus like audrey said they dont know if this show will flop or not, do you expect tha they give her 100,000$ per episode and she films 10 episodes, she already has 1million dollars in her hands and boom the show flops. it doesnt make sense. I’m sure that the salary will increase with time!

Amy, I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments. “Hellcats” has not even aired on the CW network wherein Nielsen ratings can justify a large(r) salary. Her base wage alone does prove that she has star power, name draw, and a bankable fan base.
Let’s also remember- Ashley has not been a lead character in a television series (“Phineas and Ferb” voice-over work aside) since 2008 upon her departure from “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody”. Regardless of potential, she (and “Hellcats”) must “prove their worth” so to speak. She very much so has built a solid, profitable relationship with Disney but this is a brand new partnership endeavor. The CW is not Disney.
For her name to even be included amongst the various iconic and seasoned pros listed speaks volumes.

ashley is super hot but cw can’t give her more than she is given bcz like u all said the series is not been aired yet so i hope that series is going to be a huge success than ashley should demand for a bigger salary
